Hi, I’m Waqas. A New York based writer, storyteller and entrepreneur.
For the last 15 years, I have been a founder of multiple companies, starting from my humble beginnings in Pakistan, advising fellow founders along the way. Originally inspired by how ideas spread (on the internet), I went on to learn by doing, from successful Kickstarter campaigns and building websites to founding companies, raising millions of dollars, achieving millions in sales within days, and launching several brand-defining initiatives.
I was a Y Combinator founder back in 2015, and an Acumen Fellow in 2013. I studied Physics in college but ended up dropping out to go on my own path.
Today, that same fascination with how ideas spread drives my work with passionate founders and product leaders, especially those building thoughtful communities around their vision.
